Thank you for your patience as we work with our registration partner to provide helpful and concise information about registration refunds for Delivering Solutions 24 (AHCA/NCAL Annual Convention & Expo).
What are the AHCA/NCAL Convention & Expo, Delivering Solutions 24, dates and what can I expect?
Delivering Solutions 24 will be held at the West Concourse of the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. The event dates are October 6-9, 2024. During these dates, registrants can attend education sessions, visit the Expo Hall, network with industry professionals, and attend special events.
What are your health and safety protocols around COVID-19?
With health and safety remaining a priority for our attendees, we ask that the following be observed:
Being up to date with current vaccines/boosters is preferred for all registered attendees.
Masks are worn at the discretion of the attendees.
Do not travel if you have COVID until you meet the CDC criteria for returning to work for Healthcare Workers.
If you have respiratory symptoms, please test for COVID before traveling and use a source control mask when around others indoors.
If you have had a recent high-risk exposure in the 10 days before a meeting or event, you should wear a mask for 10 days following the exposure and not participate in indoor activities where you may need to take off your mask (e.g., dining, drinking, coffee, etc.). High-risk exposure at work does not count if appropriate PPE was used during resident care.
Follow all state, local, and private business health and safety measures that may be in place.
How will CE credits and contact hour reporting work?
AHCA/NCAL will need at least 30 business days to compile and process all scan data. Once the data is compiled, all attendees will be e-mailed a CE certificate to the e-mail address used at registration. Certificate questions should be directed to Becca Colbert. Session attendance for administrators will be reported to NAB using their NAB Registry ID. Failure to provide your NAB Registry ID when you register may cause a delay in your receiving credits. Nursing contact hours will be reported to the ANCC. All other professions will need to self-report attendance with their convention certificate.
Will food be provided?
AHCA/NCAL provides lunch to all attendees on Monday and Tuesday inside the Expo Hall. New this year, and included with your registration, the Cirque 75: AHCA/NCAL Birthday Bash celebration will have heavy hors d'oeuvres and an open beer and wine bar. All other coffee, breakfast, snacks, and dinners are on your own.
Will coffee be available for attendees?
AHCA/NCAL does not provide coffee breaks. Coffee is available to purchase at kiosks in the Orange County Convention Center, hotel coffee shops, and local restaurants.
What’s the weather going to be like?
October weather in Orlando has an average high in the mid-80s and a low in the mid-60s. Session rooms can range from chilly to warm, and adjusting room temperatures takes time. Pack for layers and comfort.
Can I rent a wheelchair or scooter?
The Orange County Convention Center has wheelchair ramps, automatic doors, passenger elevators and accessible restrooms for those who need them. Scooter and wheelchair rental services are provided by Scootaround. Advance reservations are encouraged for a scooter or wheelchair rental by visiting the Scootaround website.
